Print artist problem

I have print Artist 12 and when I have saved a project and sent it to a
friend he has print artist 8 he cant open it up it has a pa extension
anybody got any ideas i tried opening it up on another computer with print
artist on it but with the same result . . A friend sent a file to me with a
project from PA 8 and I could open that up and work on it . Any help would
be appreciated .

Hi Les:
Have you ever visited the PrintArtist website? I haven't but I bet there is
a lot of good info there and troubleshooting tips. In fact, I'm going there
now.
I have PA6 so you and your friend could probably read/edit my documents,
but I probably could not read/edit either of yours. Maybe the latest
version (which yours seems to be) is compatible with the earlier versions,
but not vice-versa.

I did a quick look at the website and did not see any info about your
question. Interestingly, I didn't see any mention of PA6, the version I
have.
