Umm, Hi

Just out of curiosity, what is all this junk on alt.cosuard?
This newsgroup is about rate discrimination on data transmission, not about
some wierd, lame poetry contest. It's also not the 'Andrew Hime followup
board'. (p.s. Andrew, If you want to do reposts, the place for that is
a.b.o.i, alt.best.of.internet)

Junk? We ain't got no junk! I donn haf to shoh youu any STINKIN JONK!!!

Well, to my knowledge, the rate discrimination was taken care of soon after
this group came into existence. So this group no longer had purpose. No
longer had meaning, as Nietzsche would say. The higher-ups saw this and
thought they could rm this group. Well, a few of us spoke to one of the
higher ups (david delaney, I believe) and expressed interest in maintaining
the group for our own personal diabolical reasons. We kept it full of
traffic and the group was allowed to stay.

Sir, if it wasn't for Andrew, this group would have gone under monthes ago.
It you believe in this cause as much as you claim, I'd be thanking Andrew
rather than ripping on him.

I'd just like to point out that I think the higher ups mostly all suck...
although I actually think david delaney is cool. Joe Fish however.. is a putz

Hello to all out there, It is I, Neilly, Kender, Hunter, et, all, Who have
traveled far to this group. As I read this now, it reminds me how alt.1d was in fall. THe one thing is that I dont know how good this is for new people to come in (now dont go saying that we dont want new people.. we were all new people
once... and there have been a lot of good ones) However I also feel sort of
like the a.f.m_pers must have felt when the took refugee in our group. Of course
they came into one of the more popular groups... well anyways.. Im pooped from

Well, I took over a few months ago, and it appears somebody else is taking
over now, but I'm sure we'll come to some sort of agreement.

Well, true. But it wasn't being used.

Well, damn! Thanks! So here's what I need to do this week:

Write a C program (or con someone else to do it)
Write about the Fry Street Fair for this group.
Write about EdgeFest.
Write about the Lubbock UIL trip (which I didn't even warn about)
Write about a group I found in Lubbock (need to listen to the CD first)

And then I'll be about caught up. Plus all this old news laying around.

The only thing I recognize out of those five things is C, but I don't
know how to use it. Otherwise, I'd offer to help. *shrug*

BTW, you mentioned before about a comprimise between yourself and the new kids
coming on over here. Well, I'd like to be the...third or so to extend my

diplomatic friendship. I've been reading your stuff for a while, being a fan

will get along fine. :-)

I could use the help. It's due last Thursday, I'm turning it in tomorrow, I
haven't started it tonight. :(

Capsule summaries:
Fry Street Fair: New to me, but blah.
EdgeFest: Semi-blah.
Lubbock UIL trip: No vomiting this time, some awards (I go to state next)
Touch: vomit inducing, glad I got home before listening

Yes, but the traffic on my dear little group has shot way up! You should've
seen my eyes bug out when trn said 48 new posts! ;)
