With a flush like this your toilet never gets clogged.
Tidal bore rafting is fun, although you can throw away your clothes
afterwards due to the reddish silt.
The tides of the Garonne near Bordeaux are somewhat comparable. Funny
enough Halifax and Bordeau are almost at the same latitude.
They lowered a generator at one spot to see if it would be capable of
generating electricity.
From what I remember the first trial wasn't too successful, the turbine
was swept away.
