I have Corel PSP x2. I also have Photoshop Elements 6.0.
Pictures that apear perfect in PE are really blown out in PSPx2,
look way over exposed.
Any ideas on this? I like to use both.
I use PE to convert my RAW files. Then use PSP to make any changes.
With version x2....can't do this any more.
Thanks.

I am trying out PSP x2. Also use PE 6.0.
Problem I have is that pictures on PSP are too dark when pulled up in PE.
Also, pictures that are just right in PE are way too light in PSP, way
over exposed.?????
Any ideas???

You could try checking the Monitor Gamma being applied by PSP.
I've got PSP 9 which has the settings under menu sequence:
File->Preferences->Monitor Gamma

If not that you might look at the File->Preferences->Color
Managerment section and make sure the correct devices are being
used for colour management - if in doubt, try turning the colour
management off and see how it looks.

have you calibrated your monitor with something like a Huey or a Spyder? Are
you color management settings identical in each program? Odds are the CM
settings are not the same. I do not use either app, but the other graphics
apps I use all have CM settings.
