I work for years now with corel draw. Somethimes I have to vectorise things
and then I use
Trace for this purpose.
Now the last year since I use the X3 version I receive a lot more vectorised
files that open enormously slow..
are difficult to handle, seem corrupt, like there is something wrong with the
file.
When vectorising with the most simple black and white lineair drawings I
mostly receive a mess, a chaos of
spots and lines not as one drawing but as all small cut, pieces.. A lot of
the time the vectorfiles have double lines and
other problems.. so for myself and for the drawings I recieve more and more
made by the X versions I have problems.
A good tracer is of course a calculating program that follows lines and
makes as less as possible nodes.. and here I believe
the older programmakers thought of..
The only solution I could think of is getting back to a much stabler version
of Coreldraw ie Corel 11 and use this tracing
version..
But maybe it's only me, who has this problem with origin in my lack of
knowledge?
