~ ANY thing in here is 'fair game' for deletion, inclusion,
substitution, etc.
~ Even though you might NOT think it 'necessary'; it is often in your
best interest to 'substitute' for 'healtier' ingredients when possible
(unless you simply 'must' have the _original_)..
Quick & EZ Kielbasa Skillet Supper SR
Makes 6 servings.
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 bag frozen diced potatoes with onions & peppers
1/2 tsp dried oregano OR basil leaves
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cups broccoli florets
1 ring smoked sausage or kielbasa
3 slices process American cheese, cut diagonally in 1/2
Heat oil in 10 " skillet on med-hi heat. Add potatoes, oregano & pepper.
Cove; cook for 8-10 min, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are light
brown. Stir in broccoli; add sausage. Cover; cook abt 15 min (or until
sausage is hot). Top with cheese. Cover; heat until cheese is melted.
Prep Note: ~ Make enough of a 'basic' either room temp or chilled green
salad to last for several days in da 'fridge (WITHOUT any dressing). Do
Likewise with some diagonally cut, herb butter topped, broiler tosdted
French bread...and TA DA - "insta' dinner' for another day or so,
depending on how much kielbasa you make as well
