Hi,

I often get a pack of 'flour wraps' for fajitas etc. They come in packs of 8
and I usually have 2 or 3 left over. They go stale very quickly. Any
suggestions for using them when stale ?

All ideas welcome, thanks all & merry xmas

I find that they keep very well in the refrigerator. They need little
room because I put containers on top of them.

I always use the entire package and freeze any extra fajitas, burritoes,
etc. In my case, I'll make 8 and freeze 6.

Make what the "celebrity" chef I saw on TV made for a client. The
woman-client loved them, (as did the much younger Homecoming Dinner
Party guests the cooking show was about. The original client named
them Crack Chips:

Depending on the tortilla size, quarter them and fry in corn or peanut
oil until crisp. Remove to drain on paper towels, lightly sprinkle
with sea salt.

PECAN PRALINE TORTILLA CHIPS
Category: Snacks

6 soft taco size flour tortillas
Cooking spray
1/2 lb packed brown sugar
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp butter
1 tsp dark rum, optional
1 cup pecan pieces

Preheat oven to 350. Cut tortillas into wedges. Arrange on a baking
sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray. Bake for 10-12 minutes or
until lightly browned; set aside to cool.

Combine brown sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan and cook, stirring
frequently, over high heat until mixture reaches 240 degrees on a
candy thermometer. Remove from heat; add pecans and rum. Stir rapidly
until mixture thickens, about 20 seconds. Spoon mixture over chips and
let cool. The longer the mixture is heated the creamier the glaze will
be. For a shinier glaze, spoon on right after adding pecans and rum.
