My buildings and contents insurance is shortly due for renewal. I saw
one company offering a Ł10 amazon gift voucher but I've forgotten
which site it was! Anybody got any offer codes or details of insurance
companies with special offers? Marks & Spencers vouchers seem a
popular offer. Best one I have seen so far is Ł20 M&S voucher for each
policy you take out. (Ł40 for contents and buildings)

My mum got £50 of M&S vouvhers for taking out her home buildings and
contents insurance with the TSB. No idea of the promotional codes tho, but
she took out the policy at the beginning of July and got the vouvhers in the
last week of July.
Hope this helps :-)

Along the same lines, where do I go to get my dog insured?

Since they have been mentioned before, Churchill do pet, home, travel and
car insurance. For pet call 08003169844 8-6 m-f.

How much consolation will "a good deal" be if you are unable to claim for
something that you thought was covered ?

Use a broker.

I'm with "More Than" from Royal & Sunalliance - if anyone signs up and
mentions me as the referer, we each get 20 pounds of M & S vouchers.

(If anyone's interested then please email me).

you could try asking at the vets' if they have any info about pet
insurance. Plus a lot of that sort of place will have posters etc from
pet insurers on the walls.

I found Tesco the cheapest for pet insurance, and you get clubcard points
too!

Hear, hear! I've got some insurance that costs me nothing. Yes, that's
right, the premiums are zilch per month. OK, so it doesn't pay out if you
have a problem, but at least it's cheap.

<snip dodgy dealing>

Thanks for the info and advice everyone. I'm going to get my Dad to do
it in his name as then we can use the good deal Saga have offered!
