If you people paid for a decent AV - it wouldn't be an issue
My Nortons dealt with it weeks ago before I'd even heard of it.

Tried to run it's self on mine. But I have outlook patched so I can stop it.
Was something.scr and 57kb (right size).

If you receive an email from "BTOpenworld Team" with Subject "Important:
Terms & Conditions Change"

Dont open it! I just got one, its not from BT Openworld & it downloads/opens
an attachment by itself. The actual sender is

btopenw...@hades-woof-woof-woof.fsnet.co.uk

I managed to cancel the download in time, but god only knows what the file
was :(

Just letting you know,

You have 3 virus programs running?

And if neither McAfee or Norton failed to pick up a virus then either both
NOrton and McAfee are not intalled correctly or AVG is lying to you.....

I don't think they're the same as the one you've posted has a registration.
The one I use doesn't but probably has less features (but how many features
do you need if you're only deleting e-mail??)

This is the one I use:

I use E-Remove to examine Pop Servers before downloading mail. That way I
can delete direct off of the server and never download anything I don't want
or don't know. This is much easier than Outlook XP's Header examination and
can be configured with multiple e-mail accounts.

If ppl want E-Remove I can post it here (197Kb zipped) or post it to a ftp
server and post a link.

Don't post it here.....
This is not a binaries ng...And either the attachment will be clipped or the
whole message will be dumped...

Post it to some webspace and then post the URL here....

Thanks

Thanks for the warning. There is a real BTopenworldTeam email about terms
and condition changes. It's from Btopenw...@btopenworld.com and
doesn't do anything untoward.

Cheers

Yes, along with 3 firewalls. Nothing like being safe.

They all run fine, installed fine.. AVG is just better!

Also thinking about getting Sophos

I think you should ask about borrowing Pearls last name....

I don't think so....
Its more likely that each program scans the infected file in turn and AVG
simply picks it up first....Cures it and then lets Norton et al at it....

I've got to say that I think you are being a little too far in the 'Safety'
margin here....
But....Its your computer and you can run it as you deem fit......

But when you have that many layers of protection you have got to be bordering
