Free audio program please

[Samantha Booth]

I am looking for a free audio program that allows What U hear recording. I
have a piece of music I have edited that cannot be saved under an evaluation
programn so I need to record it by what u hear.

Audacity is free, but first check if you can record from "stereo mix"

Be aware that a lot of these 'record what you hear' programs don't seem to
work with Vista. I used to use ARWizard, but could never get it to function
properly with Vista. Not sure if I tried Freecorder though.
