Hi Sam,

Well I spent hours, literally hours, searching for what you asked for as
your isp still doesn't seem to like Google. I'm sad to report that the
closest thing I found to your request was a digital clock powered by a
lemon.

On a side note, I have a handful of magic beans for sale if you are
interested?

I bought two type - the one-touch and another more meaty one.
They were both absolute shite.
They lock up, refuse to drop the tin
Slip continuously.
My advise *STOP* and buy a worktop mains powered type!

Would you mind if I took the magic beans then. I could perhaps find you a
personality or brain before you post again

Well that would do it I suppose. Are they 240V so I can plug it into the
kitchen? I also want one as I am finding it hard to open cans now, I think
the jackhammer you suggested may be a little too heavy.

Do they do a lightweight version?

asked the question to get peoples own experiences of them and if they
consider them useless or not.

Sure, no problem.
OR, you could perhaps use your time more efficiently and search for your
daily OT-crap yourself instead of expecting the good people here to wipe
your arse?

Sure no problem. Perhaps you could get a life and stop trolling newsgroups
looking for people to pick on. This is for discounts and bargains which is
what I was looking for obviously otherwise I wouldn't have posted here. I
wanted I electric can opener. What is the point of newsgroups when all you
get are morons like yourself pointing people to Google all the time. You are
so boring now this is the third time you have tried to wind me up and sadly
failed. It takes a bigger person than you to do it.
I will post here, when I like and ask what I like, and you wont stop me, you
can always just keep attacking with your lame names you hide behind, but it
wont worry me because no matter what you do I will still be here posting and
ignoring you because you are a bore. YAWN! I always think it says something
about a mans manhood when he has to come onto a newsgroup and pick on a
woman.

Which I've had for the last 6 months without problem and would go as far as
to say It's the best can opener I've ever had. Can't deny I've seen problems
reported though, mainly when the batteries run out in mid operation people
don't seem to be able release the lid from the opener in order to get at the
battery compartment. Yet there is a hole for a screwdriver to manually
release the lid.

Hang on - no problems in my book does not equate to having to get a
screwdriver out to release a can!
My mains one has literally been no problems. I say again - the battery
ones are all shite (from the two manufacturers I've tried)

I said I've had for the last 6 months without problem

It's only a problem if the user makes it so by not changing the battery at
the first sign of it slowing down.

Some like 'em, some don't, like anything else really.

Look at my hands Sammy, no, closer, that's it....do you see it?

Yep that's the Worlds smallest violin and it's playing just for *YOU*!

> This is for discounts and bargains which is what I was looking for

Agreed, unfortunately you expect a free ride every time you post without
seeming to do any research at all for yourself. Sorry, but that's not
really what this group is for, read the charter if you don't believe me.
Alternately, you could start your own group to suit your needs, perhaps
alt.consumers.booth_the_lazy_bastard would draw the crowds?

> I wanted I electric can opener.

No sweetie, you wanted your arse wiped....alas, I am not the Andrex puppy.

> What is the point of newsgroups when all you get are morons like yourself
> pointing people to Google all the time.

So you *have* actually heard of Google then, Sammy?
All I can say is "Wow, things are looking up".
Perhaps this will increase your ratio of genuine request posts, as opposed
to "I've bought a scanner, where are the frequencies to listen to? Help, can
anyone tell me where the manual is? How do I listen to pagers? What does
this big black knob do?"
You are a Usenet whore Sammy, all you do is take, take, take.

> You are so boring now this is the third time you have tried to wind me up

I truly wish that were the case Sam, then I wouldn't have to waste a
perfectly good Saturday swapping witty banter with someone so *obviously*
mentally challenged as yourself. Is there someone standing next to you
right now wearing a ski mask and holding a gun to your head, forcing you to
jab your simian digits frantically at the keyboard? Do you need me to dial
999 on your behalf?

Hey that's great, you go girlfriend! And I will call you out every time you
expect a free lunch...isn't democracy great?

> YAWN!

Me too, obviously you don't just put *yourself* into a coma, it appears to
be airborne and worryingly, contagious!

> I always think it says something about a mans manhood when he has to come

You turned this into a "battle of the sexes" Sam, NOT me!

So make yourself useful then love, shut that pretty mouth of yours and make
me a sandwich.
