There's plenty of them in the high street which tends to see size 10/12 as
average unfortunately. New Look is one, and when reducing clothing to £1
most left are size 8, but I'm no expert in ladies clothing. Now if you want
to get size 26 that's where the difficulty happens.

correspond to their size 1. I've bought load of it for my missus and
it's all been good quality.

The question has got to be asked. Can't you find what you want in the
childrens sections if they're too small for the adults. There are an awfully
large number of very well dressed smaller people and the must be getting
their clothes from somewhere. Childrens sections are frequently the same
clothes in smaller sizes and cheaper due to zero vat (and other marketing
reasons obviously). I would have thought 'polo neck somethings' may
crossover fairly well.
Working out sizes could be fun as a lot of childrens sizes are categorized
by height. e.g 10 years = 4'10" 12 years = 5' but a mum/dad could probably
elaborate on that. Size 8 AFAICS is about 12/14 years.
Good size guides (but pretty useless for v.smart kids clothes)
So what if you have to cut out the labels.

Don't try OXFAM they are the most expensive charity shop on the high
street, along with the St Johns ambulance who have secondhand old faded and
out of shape tee shirts on sale for more than a new one costs :-O!
The Salvation army is the cheapest and do excellent work here in UK for
homeless people and the like.
The age concern is next cheapest, also do great work.
Then comes the Sue Ryder shop, heart foundation.

colours, all baby pink and powder blue, or slapperette/chav style clothing.
Neither is a good look on someone over the age of 25. Heck neither is a good
look on children.

celebrities, then they have theirs tailor made I suspect.

Ah...I have heard small people complaining of this problem of not being
seen. Perhaps there is something to it after all.

As it happens there are a disproportionate number of celebs around here but
I wasn't referring to expensive I just meant clothes that are smart as well
as not being obviously childish.

Where on earth do you shop? Poundstertcher? You describe the stuff my five
to eight year old neices wear, I am describing the stuff my 12 to 15 year
old nieces wear. Just how small are you? Perhaps you can't get it in Tescos
but I can assure you it is not over expensive, not at the rate they grow.
