Psocid Infestation

My new house has a psocid (booklice) infestation. It was completed in '06
and during each summer, these pests are everywhere. I find them in the
attic up on the highest rafters near the ridge vent and they come out from
the ceiling and wall fixtures. They must be under all the blow insulation
in the attic areas and during the worst month, June, I can kill 20 or more
in some rooms in less than 15 minutes.

I tried crack & crevice treatments, monthly spraying, lowering humidity but
nothing helps. The humidity level in my house is 43% to 47%. I am not
aware of any moisture issues in the walls and I don't know anyone that can
find out if there are any. The moisture reading on the wood in my
crawlspace is 14-16. I have about 90% plastic coverage on the ground.

Pest control companies do not know what to do and I think I will go mad if
this isn't corrected. I am thinking about fumigating with vikane but I
don't know how effective it is against psocids or their eggs. Anyone ever
tried vikane on psocids? I also don't want them back next year. I want to
sell this house but I won't even be able to unless this problem is taking
care of.

Has anyone ever dealt with anything like this before? I really need help.

I am also being told that not all eggs will die. Apparently they have a
strong resistance.
