On October 16th, I faxed a large order from all our office workers to LTD
Commodities according to the directions from the LTD catalog. Hearing
nothing a week, I tried to call them (again, per their catalog) and got a
busy signal day after day. Finally after giving up, I faxed a note to them
explaining that I could not get through on their phone and asked them to
call me. Another week went by and I still hadn't heard from them so I faxed
another letter to them. (I was still trying to call them daily and could
not once get through.)

Finally, after STILL not getting through or hearing from them, I emailed
them asking them to PLEASE contact me concerning our order. Two weeks
later, I received an email back from them (a form type letter) stating that
they did not have an order for our company. (I had a confirmation for each
of the above faxes I sent so I KNOW the faxes did reach them). There was no
name or contact person on the form email I received.

Therefore, I sent them a letter through snail mail with return receipt
telling them if I didn't hear from them by November 30th, to cancel our
order and take our company off their mailing list. I finally received a
phone call from Mari at LTD. She took our order (again!) and stated that it
would be processed as soon as possible.

Today, I received a post card from them stating that they could not process
our order. No other explanation was given - except if I had questions to
call the number listed. Guess what? I still cannot get through. All I
have ever gotten is a busy signal. I've called all total since October 16th
over 100 times and cannot reach anyone.

Therefore, I'm sending another snail mail letter tomorrow asking that they
take our company off their mailing list and never send us another catalog.

This whole experience has exasperated most everyone in our office (including
me) since there were many Christmas presents ordered. Now, there will be a
lot of rushing around trying to replace those items ordered.

Moral of the story - Throw the catalog away if you receive one because their
Customer Service and Quality Departments are virtually non-existent.

Just as well. Their merchandise is extremely low-quality anyhow. Save
your money.
