There were a number of very corrupted police units, and there are
still some that manage to get away with atrocities that would make
Hitler look good. Fortunately, many police departments have civilian
audits and oversight policy that makes it harder but not impossible
for their authority to get out of control.
Florida is clearly bad news, but I do not believe it's the worse of
the bunch.
Each and every state has got to stop screwing up, and get down to
their business of making their state the most attractive for business,
families and individuals that have good intentions.

I have seen policemen put up with behavior that would have
