Oh, lighten up, it was an accident. BTW, how many Tibetans have the
Chinese murdered this week? How long do you think it will be before
China succeeds in wiping out Tibetan buddism? Does it make Chinese
soldiers feel tough to beat up helpless monks? Just be glad your
"strategic partner" Bill Clinton is still in office.

You know, it is quite a coincidence: one of the many Clinton
coincidences. One day congressional leaders appear on television to
introduce a report criticizing the Clinton administration for allowing
Chinese access to top secret U.S. technology and that night the Chinese
Embassy is bombed, a mistake that dominates the news. Remember the missile
attacks on Sudan and Afghanistan? Well, if I didn't know better, I would
begin to suspect that the Clinton administration is not completely honest.

We've been down that road before. Our former opponent in that

course wisely. America can be your friend, but friendship must be
earned, and China to date seems only to be taking (albeit with a

Well, I'm not sure of the numbers, but one thing I am sure of: there
is no state-sponsored killing of innocent civilians going on in
America. That cannot be said about Tibet, where the Chinese
government is engaged in a deliberate policy to wipe out the Tibetan
culture and religion.

And China blusters about the U.S. invading another country. Pure
hypocrisy! In order to criticize effectively, you need to have the
moral high ground. Come back when you have it, which means when you
get out of Tibet and leave the Tibetans to themselves.

At least the U.S. has the excuse of preventing genocide in Kosovo.
The only reason China invaded Tibet was because the Tibetans were
incapable of defending themselves because of their pacifist religious
beliefs, and China went in and took advantage of the situation.

I hope that after this Kosovo problem is resolved, we turn our
attention to freeing Tibet from tyranny. The Chinese government's
stirring up of emotions in China over the bombing of their embassy,
may backfire in their faces. What's the point in promoting these
kinds of demonstrations? Are you going to be our partner, or our
adversary? It is up to you.

Actually, this is an incorrect statement.
Waco was a state sponsored execution.
The Murrah Building in OKC was state sponsored killing.
Our gov't just bulldozes the evidence so no one can prove
them responsible.

OKC Bombing... do some reading.

http://www.parascope.com/mx/okm.htm
McVeigh had, unknown to him, help in destroying the building.
The ATF KNEW that McVeigh had this planned and SOMEONE
set charges in the Murrah Building. I remember watching this on
television and the rescuers at least twice were told to evacuate
due to unexploded charges found in the building. There are
public records, court documents, of emergency personnel that
testified to seeing the charges. You don't hear this because the
Media is owned and operated by the powers that be. This adds
up to State Sponsered MURDER to me!

Waco Holocoust Museum... more reading required.
http://www1.monumental.com/SkyWriter/WacoMuseum/index.html
This speaks for itself... State Sponsored MURDER

Both sites were bulldozed before any public investigation could be
initiated. Was there something to hide? You freaking betcha there was!

Don't blame Elvis, he was at Graceland for both events,
not too sure about the squirrels though =)

Waco motive: 4 dead ATF agents after an attempted illegal raid on the B.D. compound.
OKC motive: New anti-terrorist legislation designed to strip even more of our rights away.

I am surprised you don't know these facts.

I was raised to believe this country stands for freedom and democracy. Maybe it is a misconception to believe that makes us the

David,

If you were following the thread you would know this was a reply to Doug and James. So you see nothing wrong with the ATF knowing
and allowing all those people to be blown away? Terry Nichols got a lot of time for knowing and not saying anything. Why should
the ATF be treated any differently? They knew and they helped by planting charges to be sure the building came down because they
knew the truck bomb would not be powerful enough to do the job.

and you say... "Uh...so what?"
you would not say that if one of your family were in that building.
you would not say that if your child were killed needlessly.

You are what is wrong with this country. You can not see that OKC and Waco are both attacks on you and me as well as the victims.
If it does not directly affect your life then "Uh...so what?" Wake up Davey-boy! We could really use you on our side...

I agree with the previous post, which implied that the bombing of the
Chinese embassy may have been linked to the recent theft of
technological secrets by the Chinese Communists. CIA could not
possibly be so dumb as to not know the street adress of foreign
embassies located in the capitol of a country with which we are at
war. The attack was intentional and well deserved as retribution for
the Chinese' cynical espionage tactics (NOTE: less advanced communist
nations have always needed to steal from us what they are unable to
achieve on their own; their system discourages creative, independant
thought). Well done, CIA (no sarcasm intended).

Indeed. I have very little doubt that if it had been, say, Korea or India
stealing the technology, it would not have been the Chinese embassy that was
"accidentally" bombed.

No, you misunderstand. How does the existence of unexploded charges prove that
McVeigh had help? As for the ATF knowing ahead of time, someone always knows
ahead of time. Pearl Harbour, spies, idiot teenagers running amok, somebody always
has indications that these things were approaching and was stupid enough not to
take it as seriously as they should have, or to not respond as quickly and decisively
as they should have.

Remember, people are stupid.

What made the raid illegal? Given that officers had already been
killed, how would the situation have plausibly been resolved without
more people dieing at Waco?

Really? What legislation was that? I don't find that especially
plausible in any case. Conspiratorial reasoning only goes so far.
As I understand it, American federal agencies already have virtual
carte blanche to raid anywhere, any time, so what would they actually
gain?

But then without a civil war there would have been no North and South
Vietnam. The conflict between them was just an extension of that.

One of the oddest delusions that Americans have is that all their fights
are for freedom, a goal which is apparently found in some rather dubious
hiding places. Historically, your nation has frequently stood for some
kind of tyranny. More often than for democracy I'd say, given that
anti-communist is not necessarily pro-democracy. When democracy has
stood in peril, the United States has rarely hesitated to stand back
and avoid the issue.

Maybe it is a misconception to believe that makes us the

Always a mistake to take political rhetoric too seriously.

Uh...so there is plenty of evidence that strongly suggests McVeigh
did not do this himself. All that is required is a modest effort and
much can be found. Note that at his trial the government called no
witnesses that actually placed him at the crime scene. The prosecution
had a number of witnesses that could do so. So why weren't they called?

Because none of them placed McVeigh there *alone*. As in they
were going to say he was with people who didn't exist in the
government's scenario.

I suggest a look at the OKC section of the book _Medusa File_
by Craig Roberts.

Doug Berry's credibility is negligible on most of what he comments
on because he rejects out of hand evidence or arguments that
conflict in any way with his "accept the official version, all
who don't are rabid rightwing conspiracy wackos" world view.

Of course they havent talked about the role that Andreas Strassmeir played
in the Oklahoma situation. Also, they dont tell you that FBI agents visited
the place in Elohim City where all of these so called extremists were and
knew in advance that the bombing was to take place. Really the whole case
exclusively about McVeigh was a fraud and obviously with much research and
documentation one could a great deal of the truth of what really happened.
Of course many are too lazy to research or document anything and expect to
hear it in the sanitized and controlled news media rather than by
investigative research.

Let's not forget China's military threats toward Taiwan.

it愀 a shelter and your hay.
