Full book title:

"On The Trail Of The JFK Assassins: A Revealing Look At America's Most
Infamous Unsolved Crime".

So right from the book's subtitle, we can see that Mr. Russell isn't
telling it like it is -- because the JFK case was "solved" decades
ago....in 1963 in fact.

And here's a bit of a laugh re. the cover of Russell's November '08
book --- Whoever designed the cover picked a Secret Service photo
from CE875 which has the stand-in gunman in the Sniper's Nest
mistakenly (evidently) placing the rifle's crosshairs over the target
in the car which would represent Jackie Kennedy....not JFK:

The book-cover designers could just as easily have utilized an
accurate photo from CE875, like this one:

Had VB or any other LN made such a stupid error you would have been
all over them like a fly on shit, Gilda. BTW using abbreviations for
your vulgarity, is the same as typing it out.
FA = fucking asshole. You're making God proud once again you lying,
hypocritical, bigot.

Yes, yes, so true! It was "solved" in 1963!

Trouble is, it was "solved" before the evidence was collected.

>>> "That's all you've got, Von Pein? A bitch against the picture on the cover?" <<<

As of this moment in May 2008, how could I "have" any more than that?
The book won't come out until November. I'd have to buy the book to
see what else Russell has got (and to see what he has undoubtedly
skewed in some manner with regard to the identity of the actual
assassin of JFK).

Which is something I won't do, of course (pay money for another pro-
conspiracy JFK book in the post-"Reclaiming History" era, that is).

IOW -- Why would anyone bother reading about an author's continued
fantasies with respect to a murder case that that author deems
"unsolved", when the particular murder he's analyzing has been fully
"solved" for decades?

The only reason Vincent Bugliosi's JFK book was necessary at all is
due to the conspiracy kooks of the world (including many CT authors
and movie-makers) who continue to avoid the truth and the actual
evidence (and common sense) relating to the Kennedy assassination.

If it weren't for those conspiracy-hungry people, of course, the WCR
would have sufficed quite nicely as the definitive "final word" on the
JFK case. And, in fact, the Warren Report actually still DOES perform
that task fairly nicely in all major respects, as the bottom of Page
195 of that Report fully exemplifies:

IT is a shame for you that this assertion has NOT been proven to be
correct in 44 years. The case is VERY much OPEN.

"And here's a bit of a laugh re. the cover of Russell's November '08

The whole thought of a shot coming from the "Sniper's Nest" is
laughable. Why can't you prove the trajectories for a shot from this
location?
