to which I replied :
I supplied you with proof that the truck was defective and that I
spent $ 2,994.78 to fix it. I also supplied you with proof that
indicated that I brought the truck in for repairs almost immediately
after I received it. Whether or not the seller is liable for
misrepresenting the condition of the truck has nothing to do with
whether or not the truck has been repaired.
If you read his auction description, you would have seen that he
stated that truck need "nothing mechanically", which was not true. The
transmission was bad.
I HAD TO FIX the truck or else it would have been 3 months now since I
bought it and would have been without its use. What was I supposed to
have done, rent a car for the last three months ? Your guarantees are
worthless, just as your service is.
I'll NEVER buy another car through Ebay again. EVER !!! You suck.
QUOTE OFF
LOL! Oh dear. Looks like a bit of unpleasantness there. Doesn't look
like our Gilbert is one to turn the other cheek now, does it?
So, summing things up, Verm:
a) You were an IDIOT for buying a 15K truck *as is* when you didn't
know what *as is* meant under Texas law.
b) You were an IDIOT for not purchasing a warranty, which would have
saved you all this trouble, when you had the opportunity.
c) You were an IDIOT for rushing in and getting the truck repaired,
thus voiding any redress you had with eBay.
Would that pretty much sum things up, Gilly?
Why are we not surprised?
LMFAO Regards,
