Au contraire... you can't "educate" DVP... you can only educate readers who are
*reading* what DVP claims, and others refute.

focus Fatboy... the debate (actually there's no debate) isn't about pages in a book, it's about the CONTENT (and lack thereof) in the book. Ya have to tighten up there Fatboy, you're gettin' your priorities confused as to why you're here.

Of course its about why DVP keeps getting his, Bugliosi's and the WCReports ass kicked here....

Get with the program Fatboy! For those trying to understand what this dipso Tim Brennan (aka: timstter, Tim Shell failed standup comic) go here:

Take 5 minutes, our buddy timstter-troll reeks of stuff!

Yep... this is factually true. The kooks keep trying to assert otherwise, but
they're lying.

He would probably point out that you're lying. Let's look again at the original
assertion: "The Warren Commission Report is nearly 900 pages accompanied by 26
volumes of testimony and evidence (but no index)."

Now, the index you just cited is for the WCR itself, but completely fails to
report any information whatsoever for the 26 volumes.

Only a moron or a liar would make such a mistake... so the natural presumption
(using history as our guide) is that once again, you're lying in an attempt to
snooker people who don't take the time to fact-check you.

not what you lied about...)

And, as Kook Holmes no doubt already knows, I pointed out to Puffer in
the article above, there are multiple "indexes" that tell the reader
exactly where to go in the 26 volumes to get the information they need
(either within the WCR itself or in Volume 15).

You need to know where to look for these indexes, that's true, but
once you know where they are, then it's a snap to access them at any
time in the future, particularly nowadays when every page of this
material is available on the Internet:

There's a "Witness" index (or "list", as it's called in the WCR on
Page 483), for the 552 witnesses who gave testimony in front of the WC
or its counsel:
http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wr/html/WCReport_0254a.htm

And the Witness List linked above also tells the reader at a glance
whether the witness appeared before a Commission member or gave a
deposition to merely a WC counsel member or whether the witness made
just a statement ("S") or gave an affidavit ("A"), which is an extra
layer of detail that has likely been ignored by most conspiracy
theorists, with this extra layer of detail just being one example
(among many) of the kind of extreme attention to detail that does
indeed exist within the Warren Report.

There's also an "Exhibits" index (in Volume 15):
http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh15/html/WC_Vol15_0406a.htm

The above "Exhibits" index only goes up to CE1053, and that's because
it's an index that provides information as to what volume number and
page number to go to in order to find out when a particular exhibit
was first introduced into evidence with a witness on the stand. The
other 2,000 "CE" exhibits are not listed in that index, and that index
doesn't actually tell the reader where to go in the volumes to locate
a picture of the exhibit itself. But, of course, even a second-grader
who knows anything about the general structure of the WC volumes would
have no difficulty in locating photos of all the Commission exhibits
themselves -- just go to Volumes 16-26.

And there is an overall "Names" index (also in Volume 15):
http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh15/html/WC_Vol15_0382a.htm

And, as I also pointed out previously, the Table of Contents at the
front of the 888-page WCR is a very useful "index"-like tool unto
itself, with a detailed breakdown of subject matter. This "Table of
Contents" is, in effect, an index of "Subjects":

http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wr/html/WCReport_0009a.htm

But apparently all of the above stuff isn't nearly enough for the
conspiracy theorists. They need still more indexes to figure anything
out -- like Sylvia Meagher's two "Master Indexes":

LOL! Oh sure thing, Benny.

Say, didn't YOU claim the WCR has no index too, Benny?

Puffer appears uninformed; YOU simply appear to have decided to LIE
with IMPUNITY just like your hero Mark Lane, Holmes.

You're lying again...

You can't produce any such statement by me, and you'll refuse to retract your
lie.

>> Puffer appears uninformed;

Then have the guts to point out where, with citations.

But you won't.

And yet, strangely enough, you can't quote any such lie, along with the citation
that it contradicts... why is that, kook?

>you getting a woody, again, Fatboy? Or are you just grateful for the attention?

It's the attention, I suspect. He probably doesn't get it in his personal life.

I think it might be better to name *ONE SINGLE FACTOID* that Benny
Holmes has ceased championing after being corrected, Yellow Pants.

I'm lying again am I, Benny? So you DIDN'T author THIS?:

Yes I can produce such a statement by YOU, Holmes. You said in the
above post the following:

QUOTE ON:

It's long been simply an historical FACT that the WCR didn't contain
an index to it's contents. One of Sylvia Meagher's great
accomplishments was to create one.

QUOTE OFF

I can't retract a lie I never told in the first place, Holmes. Time
you retracted YOUR lies Benny!

Already have. His factoid about the WCR having no index.

Already have. I linked to the start of the index in the WCR. Right
here:

LOL! You know, Holmes, I've quoted MANY lies told by Mark Lane.
Perhaps you've simply missed them, skulking behind your killfilter or
fielding responses second hand via Healy. The KOOK is YOU, Benny!

<Balance of Dave/Ringo idiocy snipped>

Chomp on another lie by Mark Lane, coming right up, Benny!

DVP can't be honest if his life depended on it.

Embarrassing what McAdams has to work with.

BEN HOLMES SAID:

>>> "By setting up the killfilter, I can bypass 90% of the nonsense." <<<

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

And yet you (Ben Holmes) come here (to Amazon.com) to argue
incessantly with a person who you've got killfiled at another forum,
i.e., you're arguing with a person (me) who isn't worthy of your time--
at ANY forum.

Tell us please, oh great Benjamin--why am I worthy of your precious
time and retorts at Amazon.com, but unworthy of your valuable
arguments at the other forum?

What a hypocrite.

>>> "If, of course, this were true, then DVP would be willing to debate the evidence without lying or running away." <<<

But what good would it do YOU -- you've got me "killfiled". So you'll
never see my arguments anyway.

What a hypocrite.

And, of course, Holmes is dead wrong about this anyhow, because I am
constantly citing evidence and testimony, etc. But he'll continue to
pretend that I never once have cited anything.

What a hypocrite.

>>> "As one simple example: Bugliosi stated that Perry & Carrico described the original bullet wound in JFK's throat as "ragged". Yet DVP can't produce a citation that supports that. Nor will he admit that Bugliosi simply lied." <<<

And that's because Bugliosi did not lie. Vince was WRONG regarding the
"ragged" thing. I don't deny that fact (and never have denied it). But
IMO he did not lie. And I fully explained why this is the case in a
lengthy post concerning this matter on July 14, 2011 (below), which
Holmes has seen. But he'll still pretend I have ignored this topic
entirely and/or he'll continue to assert that I have not explained the
matter in anything close to a reasonable or sensible manner. But he'll
continue to be wrong when he makes that assertion.

What a hypocrite.

BEN HOLMES SAID:

>>> "If he [Vince Bugliosi] understood the evidence, he lied about the most critical evidence in the case demonstrating a conspiracy." <<<

DAVID VON PEIN SAID:

Holmes apparently thinks the small nature of JFK's throat wound is
"the most critical evidence in the case demonstrating a conspiracy" --
which, of course, is an utterly foolhardy statement, in light of Dr.
Perry's WC testimony, wherein Perry told the world that the wound he
observed in JFK's throat at Parkland could have been "either" an entry
or an exit wound [at 3 H 373]:

ARLEN SPECTER -- "Based on the appearance of the neck wound alone,
could it have been either an entrance or an exit wound?"

DR. MALCOLM PERRY -- "It could have been either."

http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh3/html/WC_Vol3_0191a.htm

But retards like Ben Holmes just do not want to believe that Dr. Perry
was telling the truth in the above testimony. Do you, Ben? You prefer
to cling to your fantasies about the throat wound being an entrance
wound for a bullet which came from an invisible Grassy Knoll sniper,
whose bullet was one of TWO such missiles that just STOPPED dead in
its tracks after it went into JFK's body only a short distance (while
striking no bones at all). And then on top of that ridiculous and
preposterous notion, BOTH bullets then just disappeared off the face
of the planet! Right, Benji?
