We rejoin our hero, Gil *TROLLKILLA53* Jesus as he escalates things,
following another perceived brush off from Texas Direct Auto, this
time down @ eBay. OK, Verm on. Let's listen in:
QUOTE ON:
Texas Direct Auto did not respond to my original Ebay complaint within
the 10 days that they had to respond.

Therefore, I had no choice but to take the complaint to next level.
The seller cannot deny that as of Tuesday, May 31st, four days after
receiving it, there was a problem with the truck. The sellers
contention that I had somehow damaged the transmission myself is a
theory not based on any fact.
Although he seems bent on putting the blame on me, I'm 52 years old, I
don't hot rod around, I'm a mechanic who has worked on cars for 40
years and loves his show cars and takes great care of his equipment.
The truck I bought is a heavy-duty truck, a 1-ton crew cab dually 4x4
built to pull in excess of 20,000 lbs. These trucks don't break due to
work. I've had them (454 crew cabs) before and they last a long time.
The seller's contention that this truck was broken just FOUR DAYS
after receiving it in such excellent mechanical condition is
tantamount to an admission that there was a defect with it before it
was sold.
I spent 15,000.00 (Buy it Now) for a truck that "needs nothing
mechanical" but is sitting in the shop right now awaiting a $ 3,000.00
transmission rebuild
QUOTE OFF
What will happen next? Will tomnln rustle up a few *good ol' boys* and
fly them out to Texas to *tune up* Direct? Maybe Walt will stop
stumbling around in the alley behind General Walker's old house and
pay *Rick* a visit.. Will Ben get a squad together from the Encino
Judo Club and help sort things out? Even I am starting to feel some
sympathy for poor ol' Verm in this nasty matter. Well, only a LITTLE
bit. Still.. Stay tuned for Episode 5 - UNSATISFACTORY RESPONSE FROM
EBAY!
