The HSCA & ARRB were likely the turning point... there was a time when
believers could actually make a case - but far too much access to the
underlying evidence is easily available to anyone now for their
outright lies to be effective.

While critics aren't above having moron trolls among them (Rob Caprio
comes to mind), it's by far more common for the trolls to be on the
side of believers.

And that fact tells the tale...
