I referred to the testimony of William H. Shelley in the hearings volume 6
(didn't see a reply to my post herein).

According to him, the last time he saw Oswald was 10 or 15 minutes before
12 and he didn't see him again until at the police station when they
brought him in.

Oswald told Fritz he was 'out with Bill Shelley in front'.

Bill Shelley only said that he was with others in the front.

So Oswald was lying? Could Bill have not noticed Oswald who might have
joined people outside?

However, WC staff counsel Ball didn't question Shelley about Oswald's
statement to the contrary given to Fritz in order to rule out any
possibility of error. One would think that such a question would be asked
to leave no stone unturned.

Why wasn't it asked?

How did Oswald know that Bill Shelley was out in front if Shelley was
'just outside the glass doors there'? If Oswald was up at the SN, he
would have had to stick his head out far and look directly down to have
seen Bill Shelley to make up a statement like that. Surely somebody would
have noticed.

I also noted that they were laying floors up on the 6th. Could Oswald have
gone up during lunch time when nobody was SUPPOSED to be up there to have
done what he was alleged to have done?

Also, Shelley replied to a direct question that the source or direction of
the sound 'came from the west'. Not above or to the east. But from the
direction of the Grassy Knoll. Interesting.

The testimony seems to yield more questions than answers.
