The only ringtones compatible with Verizon phones are those downloaded
through the Get-it-Now applications. Outside vendors who don't have an
agreement with Verizon Wireless aren't supported.

I have had no problems loading midi ringtones into my Verizon LG VX4400 without
the use of Get It Now.
