What kind of structure/gate is just west of
the dirt pile at 37.7128N 116.122W ?

Interesting LONG and apparently little used,
but modern (very straight) road leads
from there, over the hills to the Rachel back gate.

Wherein it sez,

"Now it is possible this one location had the best dirt known to man
or space alien for building a dirt landing strip."

Hmm. Interesting. I can certainly imagine that there would be some
areas where hauling in primo dirt to stabilize/firm up a landing strip
would be necessary, but this doesn't seem to be one of them. Unless
there's a lot of inconveniently sized rocks in the existing ground
that needed to be covered up to get a smooth surface???

That's now what I'm looking at at those coords.
Not the Cedar gate.

It looks like a gate and some enclosed structures
in a fence. About .16 miles west of the entrance to
the dirt source. It's on the road that leads to
the dirt source and then on to the ragged ridge
antenna farm.

That looks like a gate or remnant of a gate for the facility on Ragged
Ridge. I believe there is a road along side a trench that leads to the
back gate area.
