Once upon a time, both Firefox and Seamonkey had a line/toolbar
across the top.
Unfortunately, i do not remember what it looked like to describe it.
But i know the most recent version that will install in Win 7.1
neither has that toolbar nor allows saving of passwords.

It seems this new installation of Win 7.1 is already buggered enough
to mess with the installation of Firefox, preventing decent and complete
visual (and useful) results.
Is there a way to fix the installation and know which older installation?
I have (preferred) 52.9.0esr and 78.1.0esr, along with (tolerable)
79.0b9, 80.0.1, and 86.0.1.

Thanks.

That's the invisible Menu Bar setting.

Along the alignment of the Tab Bar, go to the right of that
so you will not be clicking on a tab itself.

Right-click at that point, and the short menu presented should
have an item called "Menu Bar". When you select that
it will toggle on and the "File" "Edit" items will appear.

That was the secret, worked like a charm.

Thanks.
