This isn't my video, AND, until this morning, I didn't know it existed.
I found it by accident, but, after viewing; found it worth sharing.
Now, those who are interested, can see some of what the Toadie virus would
actually do on an infected windows 98 machine. I don't know which variant
he's running, or where he sourced the infected bins; but, most of what
you're seeing in the video is how Toadie operates. The comments section is
also worth examining. Sadly he either didn't know about the limmerick
payload or just didn't have time to trigger it for the video. You can read
them here though:

On a supported NT or Os2/Warp environment, you would still get the DOS
looking screen, but nearly all of your apps would work; usually without
issue.
As for the kernel corruption issue he experienced, that wasn't the result
of Toadie. The majority of my viruses after the Weed family had a table of
specific file names to avoid infecting due to incompatibility with them
and it's infection method.
PS: Tim, this is even older code than my Irok. You assumed our
programming/coding skills were the same? :) Bad assumption on your part,
there, "mate"
- We aren't even reading from the same book. Your actual
electronics knowledge is probably surface level too. As that also requires
logic and understanding of logic.
