It seems that some here may not understand what Dyscalculia is and how
it can impact people in the real world.

For me, it makes handling things like computer programming even more
tricky, specifically because you can introduce errors, simply because of
a form of number blindness.

It took ~15 years to 'remember' my own mobile phone number and when I
got close, I would still often transpose digits.

I could never be a witness to a 'hit and run' as I couldn't remember the
vehicle registration for more than 5 seconds. I would however be likely
to recognise the make, model and colour of the vehicle and any
outstanding features.

It can also potentially be costly. Not only when dealing with things
like online banking but when you enter a parking location incorrectly
when paying by phone (with the App) and receive a 100 GBP Parking Charge
Notice, like I did this morning (I'd transposed two of the 6 digits). ;-(

Add that to dyslexia ...

Cheers, T i m

I am a math tutor but still sometimes do this.

I was a witness to a drive by shooting... it was amazing how much I did not
remember.
