A real-life friend has suggested I ask my friends to discuss Flagellum.

Lots of information here:- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagellum

Have you any knowledge of flagella?

An interesting feature is the 'structure' and engineering of a 'micromotor'.

And then there are sperm cells, spermatozoa and their ability to be
'stored' in the microstrcture of cervical mucus, which instead of a
'blob' of mucus like a wet sticky plug, is actually a complex structure
of micropathways or channels for the spermatozoa to propel themselves
via their flagella/um so as to inseminate the hostess for days rather
than the short time the sperm can survive in the vagina. Except when
the mucus isn't like that.

When we we wanted to fly, the method the birds use for winged propulsion
wasn't really the best way to do it; when we want to build micromotors,
the flagellum isn't the best way either.

Trivia; what is the diff between cilia/cilium and a flagellum? Not all
that much.

Actually, I meant 'nanomotor'.

Here's a hairy journal article from way back in '16:

https://journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mmbr.00056-15
> Biological Nanomotors with a Revolution, Linear, or Rotation Motion Mechanism

Naturally the wp article on the flagellum is easier to read about how it
works, but the journal article puts the mechanisms into a broader
perspective.

Here's the wp's broader:

"The cell is what biochemist Michael Behe has called evolution’s “black box,”
its spectacularly complex, superbly designed contents unknown to Charles
Darwin. When the box was opened by modern science, it was a turning-point
moment for the articulation of the modern theory of intelligent design. A
revolution followed, fundamentally challenging how scientists discuss the
history of life. Join Dr. Behe as he explores the mysteries of the cell, the
limits of evolution, and how the cell points to intelligent design. This show
is a re-edited compilation of the first five episodes of Behe's Secrets of the
Cell YouTube series. Now you can watch the first five episodes all at once!"

Did you enjoy Professor Behe's video presentation? I most certainly did. :-)

Yes, the graphics were good (although not explained) and the
photography too. He does a good presentation. I remain unconvinced
though.

I also recall a supposed refutation of evolution by trying to track the
development of sight from simple pits to highly developed orbs.
