Only last month The Mossad were caught planting fake car bombs in Tel
Aviv,
thats not a people you want to be associated with.

They fake car bombs could be a prep for anywhere, you don't know where
they
were training for, it could be against any of us.

For your edification Unit 8200 is a technology R&D unit tasked with
providing said tech to the Military Intelligence branch of the Israel
Defense Forces.

8200 is military, Mossad is civilian and as such have no direct
connection. Most of the 8200 personnel I have met are developers and great
ones at that. 18-25 year old kids who do their compuslory military service
in a tech unit. One of my friends from a startup where I worked was
ex-8200 and was basicaly an uber-geek. So what?

Regardless of the BBC story, Mossad was doing some real world simulations
and yes they are spies or covert operatives. They got caught performing a
training operation which is reasonable to assume most intelligence units
in most countries do and if they got caught then the news gets censored.
Ask yourself this was the point to plant fake bombs or for Mossad trainees
to see if they could detect "red team" members planting the fake bombs.

It speaks well for Israel that their press was the first to report this.
Apparently Israel as a non-constitutional democracy has an open press, go
Israel.
