I've been solicited by a company called the Round Table Group. They
function as a clearing house (or maybe body shop) for expert
witnesses. See <http://www.roundtablegroup.com/experts/>.
I'm a little curious about why they've solicited me. While I think
that I do have some expertise in various areas, I wonder how they
found me. I did testify as an expert witness in an SEC case in the
'90's, but I doubt that was it. More likely it was via LinkedIn or
the ICCA.
Have any of you been solicited by these guys? Has anyone actually
worked with them?
Thanks,

I have been solicited by them as well. I have not responded although I have
been tempted to do so. Like you I would like to know more about them first.

I did some googling, but didn't come up with anything pro or con. I
suppose that the next step would be to check with the BBB and the
American Bar Association.
