We are looking for a Java Production Engineer who has experience in below skills:-

Web logic
Unix shell scripting
Deployment
Production Support
Clear case
Migration/ up gradation
Middleware


Job Description:
We have to fill 3 positions with the following skill set / experience

· 8 years of Java/J2ee experience
· At least 7 years in Unix/Linux and Windows (Solaris is nice to have)
· Should have used Clearcase as the code repository
· 3 years of Unix shell scripting experience (should be hands-on)
· 5 years of WebLogic experience
· Good ability to understand and modify build scripts (using ANT)
· Deploy applications on stand-alone instances or clusters
· Experienced in preparing custom deployment plans for WebLogic
· Exposed to upgrades / migration
· Database - Sybase, DB2, Oracle
· Operating Systems - Unix, Linux, Windows (Solaris nice to know)
· Middleware - WebLogic (Tomcat nice to know)
· Java

Focus will be on identifying candidates with the relevant experience outlined below

· Should have been part of support/maintenance projects apart from development
· Strong ability to troubleshoot application issues, including root cause analysis at the middleware, database or operating system level
· Strong ability to write shell scripts for automating manual mundane jobs
· Ability to perform impact analysis of upgrades / migration at all the levels mentioned above. More focus on ripple effect of one or more changes
· Exposed to process improvements in a continuously changing environment
· Good to excellent level of expertise in core java, struts and web services
