Web UI Developer/ Designer Consultant
• Location: Hoboken, NJ
• Position Type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months+
• Notes: Client will hire on Phone interview.
The primary responsibility of the Web UI Developer is, working as a member of the project team, to be responsible design and development of code, unit and integration testing.
Job Description
• Understand and review technical specification
• Develop Web UI code and assets of the application using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
• Partner with other team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure operational readiness as it relates to the complete application functionality
• Prepare for, and support, QA and UAT
Required Skills
• Development
• Strong understanding of advanced web technologies with a proven ability to develop interactive content using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience creating UI assets such as images
• Experience with cross-browser development (MSIE, Firefox, Mobile Safari)
• Experience profiling and optimizing web application performance on the client side
• Experience using modern MVC web application frameworks
• Experience with JavaScript toolkits like jQuery, Sencha, or Dojo
• Experience with UI development for mobile applications
• Knowledge of Backbone or Bootstrap a plus
• Experience building rich UI built using Java-based web frameworks (Struts, JSF etc.) is a plus
Preferred Skills:
• An understanding of the Agile development methodology
