PS2 PORTS

I have a Ps2 port set up to use a mouse, I need to change it's use to a
keyboard port. I have loaded the drivers for the keyboard but the keyboard
won't work and the add new hardware wizard tries to load a ps2 mouse port
drivers any ideas???

Is this the only PS/2 port you have?
Is it a laptop?
I'll have to do some-more research on this, but the last thing I had heard
is that standard PS/2 ports are assigned to mouse or keyboard and can not
be changed.
If it is a laptop and you are tryng to use an external mouse port for a
keyboard, I can almost garauntee it will not work.

Unfortunately, not all PS/2 ports are the same. Most are dedicated to
EITHER mouse OR keyboard, not dual-purpose. The answer will depend on what
board are you using, as I assume this is port from a mainboard.
