I have a gateway P5-133 with an adaptec SCSI card that interfaces my
SCSI hard drive(C3725S) and a CD ROM.I would like more hard drive storage
and am thinking about adding more hard drive space.
options:
1.Bigger SCSI drive. Too much $
2.IDE or EIDE drive that interfaces motherboard ? while retaining SCSI.
Two hard drive interface drivers?
3.Remove SCSI drive and go with one IDE or EIDE.
other options?
thanks for ideas.

SCSI have no problem co-existing with IDE, the problem is boot sequence.
IDE usually boots before SCSI, but as long as you don't mark any partitions
on IDE active, it should still boot off the SCSI HD.
