I have a newly installed win 8 OS running (64 bit)

and I installed bitdefender yesterday, today it said "scan finished, 50
items discovered and deleted (or something like that)" now I can't find
where the items are quarantined

ugh.... guess I should have read the fine print (if there WAS any)

Help!

this is what I could look up, no quarantine chest though:

Scan Results
Auto Scan has completed a Full Scan cycle on 6/7/2013 1:42:19 PM.
Effective scan time: 00:35:59
The scan took: 16:05:30
Files scanned: 314506
Infected items detected: 50
Files known to be clean: 85120
Scan Results
No infected items have been found.
Ignored items
The following files could not be scanned due to insufficient privileges.
Password protected items can be easily scanned using contextual scan:
right-click the target item and choose “Scan” in the Bitdefender menu.
After entering the password the scanning will continue normally.
File Name Action
c:\windows\mfgstat.zip None (password protected)

I use Bitdefender in Linux, and after the scan, it always asks
me what to do with the "detected malware". I have an option to delete,
quarantine or ignore. Can't remember if this is the default action,
I've had it for years.
I usually just tell it to ignore all the "malware" (my Nirsoft
files, 99% of the time).
It does actually detect real malware, though Avira and
Kaspersky are a tad better at that.

The others don't detect Nirsoft and other utilities as
malware. Maybe that's why it has a higher detection rate.
Like I said, I run it. It sometimes picks up something the
others don't. Usually, though, it's the other way round.
