This is most likly due to the system configuration or something to do with the
actual system. If it was due to a virus, the virus would PROBABLY spread from
your "messed up" computer to the other machines in which they suposibly "work"
on. Don't be so quick to blame all "misshaps" on viruses....I'm prety sure that
it is something else.....hope that this helps, but once agian, It is probably
NOT a virus, but simply a software conflict or something similar. Viruses arn't
the cause of all problems ya know.

Please make sure the disk on which you copy the scanner is clean, AND write
protected before you check the other computer. Turn off the PC and get a
boot floppy, let the PC boot from that (DOS 6 even when you got win 95!!!).
Insert the disk with the scanner and run it.

Yep.

That's right it's supposed to work that way :-) Windows 95/98/NT
users get a free DOS version of AntiViral Toolkit Pro also, all they
have to do is download it.

It's was, all you have to do is download it and copy the avp.key
file over (overwrite) the evaluation key. Well be addind some text
about that to the web site shortly.
> Also, I read where 1019.CIH doesn't infect NT4 files,,,,, BULLSHIT !!!
Hmmm... I did not write that! Someone else did.
Anyways thanks for being a dedicated and happy AVP user :-)
That said, if the PC isn't running a current on-access scanner, a virus is
one of the first things I'd check for. It's pretty quick and easy to find
out if there's an infection or not and proceed from there.
