I need help wit a virus

Hello all,
People are telling me I may have a worm virus. Any time I send an e-mail
out unbenoused to me, an empty attachment attaches to my e-mails. I have
done a few scans with McAfee and nothing is showing up. I have the latest
verison of MCAfee. Is there any other way to detect a virus on my computer,
how can I get rid of it.

With mcAfee it is not enough to update the dat files, try a superdat, that
way you yupdate the scan engine as well.
About of vshield (I have this at work and I am doing this from memory)
should read 4.01.5 and the dat file ends with 50.
Anyway download a superdat file and try to scan with that, make sure you
have set the scan to scan all files instead of the default executables only.

If you are running McAfee from your hard drive, the virus may be hiding
itself. You should reboot to a safe bootable McAfee floppy Disk and scan
your system from this.

Its times like this that you wish you'd made that McAfee Boot Disk that
McAfee recommended during the initial installation.
