RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the construction and implementation of new Itaniums
based infrastructure running numerous instances across multiple tiers
of the enterprise
Ability to operate in complex, highly-secure, and highly-available,
operations environments and interact with the technology domain
experts required to maintain those environments
This position requires a candidate with strong hands on technical
engineer professional with business acumen
Responsible for mentoring junior team members, developing ITIL
procedures and best practices standards
Work with other Engineering Disciplines to develop Service Based
Reference Architectures that can be offered as services to our
customers
This position requires a dynamic, hard-working and ambitious
individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Candidates will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and
have experience working in large enterprise operational environments
REQUIREMENTS:
Deep understanding of NonStop internals
Experience across both Itanium and S series hardware. Significant S
series experience can be substituted for Itanium experience.
Proven ability integrating non HP products into a NonStop environment
Scripting and automation experience with multiple file transfer, TACL,
and user access methodologies into a NonStop environment
Experience with NonStop infrastructure at the web, application, and
database levels
5+ years experience with NonStop infrastructure
Ability to write technical design and build documentations for all
aspects of a technical infrastructure
Ability to integrate content from other domain areas and construct
final technical design documents
