I am hoping that the collective wisdom of the newsgroup can help me with
this problem.

I have an Ericsson T28s mobile phone (fitted with a DI28 IR modem) and a
Palm Vx (with Mobile Internet Kit Installed). I can establish a dial up
Internet connection to my ISP and check e-mail and browse WAP sites (eg
wap.google.com) but I CANNOT get the WAP service provided by my mobile phone
company (ie Optus Networker service) to work. The best I can get is a
connection...that's it. Whenever I try to browse ANY WAP page (even the
mobile phone company's WAP home page) I get the following error on the
Neomar WAP browser provided with the Mobile Internet Kit: "Incomplete data
transfer".

The network connection I have created for the WAP service on my Palm is
configured to automatically obtain IP address and to "Query DNS".

Below are the configuration settings for my mobile phone provider's WAP
service:

Primary IP Address: 202.139.083.152
Primary IP Port: 9201 (non-secure) / 9203 (secure)
Secondary IP Address: 202.139.083.152
Secondary IP Port: 9201 (non-secure) / 9203 (secure)
Phone Number: 0411000638
User Name: My Mobile Phone Number
Password: ???????
Baud Rate: 9600
Line Type: ISDN

I have the WAP facility enabled on my mobile phone account.

I am hoping that someone can give me some advice on how I go about setting
up my Palm Vx to use my mobile phone WAP service. Maybe there is another
Aussie out there that uses the Optus Networker service and has got it to
work on their Palm.

Thanks in advance to all those who reply.

What is the URL for the WAP services provided by Ericsson?

Incomplete data transfer means you don't have any wireless connection
service to the PDA device.
