My wife just bought a Palm Zire 72. If I install Hotsync on
a Win98 PC that already syncs with my iPaq Pocket PC, am
I going to end up synchronizing all my Pocket PC email,
documents, and data on her Palm, too? I'd prefer to keep
the data separate.

That is not enough info !
But I suppose you mean you sync with Outlook and not with the Palm Desktop.
Generally a different user account would solve the issue.
Either in Outlook or in Windows.
If you sync with the Palm Desktop no problem that will not interfere
with Pocket PC.
