Free. This is from their web site:

June 14, 2001
WordSmith wins Smallbiztechnology.com's prestigious Best of PC EXPO 2001
award. Blue Nomad will be demonstrating WordSmith version 2.0 (currently in
beta and soon to be released as a free upgrade to all registered users) in
Booth #2636 Main Hall at PC Expo.

Does anyone know the projected release date and memory usage?

Is it likely to fit into a 2 meg Palm m100 if you dump all the other
applications and stick to using reasonably short documents?

It has gained a tremendous amount of functionality including its own
font system. It is right around 435K at the moment but will probably
be closer to 460 if we build a default font into the executable.

So yes, if you keep your system pretty sparse and stick to documents
that aren't too large, you should still be okay.

Excellent!
It's so nice to see that there are still real programmers out there,
who have a user's view of their product and can write tight compact
code.
I was half-expecting you to say that the new file was about a meg!

<happy sigh at the thought of it only being in the half meg range>

Happy happy joy joy.

I guess the one remaining question is ... how do we make sure that
every pda owner on the planet finds out about this awfully nice
product? :-)
