I recently installed JackFlash and discovered that I had already installed
Backup Buddy Flash FlashPack into my Flash RAM in the past. When I
runJackFlash it says I need to uninstall "FlashPro" because the two products
are uncompatible. Problem is, after I install and run the
BBFlashUninstaller program, I still get the error message in JackFlash.
Apparently there are some files that are still hanging around in Flash.
Would greatly appreciate any advice that anyone can render. I wrote both
BackupBuddy and
JackFlash support a few days ago but did get reply. -Jim

Many programs leave behind a database even after you uninstall them. You should
download DB Cleaner to see what you still have hanging around. There might be
some sort of a conflict between DBs. This is just a guess as to cause on my
part so take the advise for what it's worth! Dan

BBFlashUninstaller does not restore your device to the original state. There are
two different solutions to this problem:

1. Use the FPUninstall.prc to completely remove it. FPUninstall is a FlashPro
tool.
2. Reflash the OS on your device. This option is quite quick (~10 min) and
BackupBuddy will prove useful once again!

Depending on the OS you have on your device you can download the necessary files
from:

or
