Environment - Win 95, Outlook 97 , Palm Pilot professional(ver 2.1), IE 4.0,
Intellisync 1.6

When I hotsync, it says synchronizing mail and then Outlook immediately
generates the screen to connect to my ISP(username, pwd, …..). After this
the hotsync process terminates on the Pilot and the desktop process just
hangs. I cannot figure out why Outlook is producing the connect screen.
Pilot tech support say that it is Outlook at fault for they claim that the
Hotsync process only reads the Outlook email databases(Is the hotsync
process doing a "New Mail"request???)

The solution that they suggested the "Developers Back Door"(Hold the up &
down page keys in the Hotsync screen WHILE TAPPING THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER.
A messagebox appears "DLServer Wait Forever is on). I believe it prevents
the pilot from disconnecting on its own. This seems to work but the hotsync
process takes forever.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA
