HotSync & MacOS 8.0

Hi there

after installing Mac OS 8, HotSync doesnt work correct anymore... It stops while transmission is in progress.

I've tested also slower serial speeds, but no good either... Any ideas?

Try this.
Go to the hot sync screen of your pilot.
Press the up button & down button at the same time.
While you have those buttons held, tap the very top right corner of your screen.
You will see a Developer's Backdoor dialogue box; click OK.
Now hotsync.
If this doesnt work, email me, I have several other suggestions.

Just to let others know, I've used HotSync successfully with MacOS 8 since
at least June, using beta versions and now a producion version of the OS.

It's not OS 8. I've been running it with no problems. Try resetting
your parameter RAM and if that doesn't work, restart with OS 8.0 only
extensions plus whichever ones you need for the Pilot desktop. As a
last resort, save your databases and reinstall the programs.
