greetings...
I am able to get my aol mail, pop mail, and yahoo mail over my palm...
but I havent been able to figure out a method to get hotmail..
Am not aware of any palm programs to connect directly..
Proxiweb doesnt support javascript, which apparently is necessary to log
into your hotmail acct..
Anyone figure out a way yet??

In article <fr5D4.18931$S4.1...@news1.rdc1.nj.home.com>, "Alan

Alan. Not sure that you can access Hotmail until they create a
way, as with Yahoo, to access as a POP account. I don't use
Hotmail, however I do like the Yahoo setup. Maybe keep asking
the Hotmail people to catch up with Yahoo and make it
configurable as a POP account :-)

Regards,

AFAIK in order to get hotmail access via a browser you need to have one that
supports https - I'm a winCE user so I don't know whether there is a SSL
suporting browser out there for Palms. Javascript isn't necesary though,
just the SSL.

hope the helps,

Steven

I used to be able to get hotmail through ProxiWeb but 3 months ago, Hotmail
must have changed something in the logging process, because suddenly I had a
Java Script error.

I wrote to both Hotmail and Proxinet, but didn't heard a thing from either.

use mail.com

they can autoforward to another pop account.

i think hotmail.com can autoforward too can't it?

And, since MicroSoft is SO interested in working with all alternate vendors in
order to spur multiple options for the consumer in this industry, you just know
they're going to run right out and make things easy for Palm users! I'll bet
their solution will be "Upgrade your handheld's operating system to WinCE!"

OI don't think it does, else there would be no problem - I couldn't even get
it going via Outlook - and that has an option especially for Hotmail
accounts!
