I think the Navigator 6 instructions refer to a TomTom device -- not
the Treo. So my question is -- How do I install Navigator 6 to the
Treo 650 if it isn't already installed on the expansion card?

I purchased the Navigator 6 CDs with the wireless GPS receiver for the
Treo 650. I eventually found that a SD Memory Card was required, so I
ordered one figuring that it would be an easy installation from the
CDs. I tried to follow the instruction in the manuals but they talk
about a TomTom device, not a Treo 650. But if you go to the Palm site
it says that Treo 650 supports TomTom.

I attempted to install Navigator 6 to my Treo 650 using the Palm One
QuickInstall to a laptop and dragged the entire contents of Navigator 6
CD into the Expansion Card window. After copying/expanding all the
files it said that the next time I ran HotSync that all the files would
be installed on the Treo 650. It ran but didn't install. Obviously
the wrong approach. I am beginning to think that I needed the
Expansion card with TomTom already on it. But isn't there a way to
install what I need using the CDs and a blank expansion card? this is
frustrating.
