Hi,

I am looking for a company or a source for some totally clear screen
overlays. I have tried the Fellows and Belkin products but they make
it really hard to see things on the screen. I have read about people
making their own overlays from laminating sheets but I don't want to
gum up the screen with sticky stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Joe

I took a blank overhead projection sheet and cut it to fit. It works
excellent, but there is a very minimal decrease in screen sensitivity. I
have a palm m105 and removed the face plate to make putting the overlay on
easier. I also put a piece of tape over the writing area to make it less
slick, it improved my number of errors, but again you have to press even
harder, but it's very acceptable in my mind.

It was a time of great turmoil. The strong preyed on the weak, dogs
and cats lived together. One voice cried out in the wilderness.

Generally, the color screen overlays are totally clear. If you want a
clear screen, get a color screen overlay even if you use a monochrome
device.

I bought the protectors radio shack had in stock, don't remember the name
but only ones there, and i find NO fogging of the screen and much better
traction for the stylus.

My 2 cents worth

Try www.pdascreenprotectors.com - postage isn't too expensive as long as you
order a few, and the G2's are brilliant - long lasting (don't know how long
yet, still on my first one after a month or more and staying pretty scratch
free and I can see it lasting quite a few months more). Also very good for
visibility - you wouldn't know it's there and I haven't noticed any
degradation in the digitiser sensitivity - maybe a teensy bit right at the
very edges? Could just be me, didn't have my HandEra 330 long before I put
one on it. They'll also cut it to whatever size you want, if you say which
palm you've got.
