Newbin pro question about headers

Hello, Group.

I have Newsbin pro 4.32 Build 4964 (The new versions are too friggin
complicated/Different to use.)
Can I setup Newer versions of NB Pro To run like my version?

AND:

I'm always looking for headers that were posted within the last two months,
but can' go that far back without getting posts from almost a year ago.
Getting that many posts usually locks up my puter. I get message "Out Of
Memory".
My puter is 3.4 ghz w/2gigs of RAM and a TB+ of HD space.
I tried setting the purge date back 120 days, but no dice.

Any suggestions?
