%#@$! oh how to delete those unwanted payees from the dropdown list

I have Quicken 2000 Deluxe and am unable to delete any <Online Payee> from
the dropdown quickfill list. These do not appear in the Memorized
Transation List and were deleted from the Online Payee List. About 12 of
these are left over from CheckFree which was dropped 2 years ago. Maybe I
should just forget about it and . . .

Hey Mac,

If you delete it from online payee list, from memorized transaction list,
and address book list, only current payees and memorized transactions should
be in the dropdown list. The address book entries stay in the dropdown list
until you delete them from the (financial) addressbook list.

These payees are not in the address book, memorized transaction list, or
online payee list. I think because CheckFree was not notified of these
deleted payees they persist as <Online Payees> in the dropdown. And now
that I no longer have a CheckFree account I am unable to email CheckFree of
the deleted payees. This situation probably has no solution. Thanks. Mac
