Selecting multiple investment transactions in Quicken 2015 Deluxe

Normally you can select multiple transactions in any account by
selecting the top transaction followed by pointing at the bottom one
and selecting while holding down the shift key. In Q 2015 Deluxe, this
works on bank accounts, but doesn't seem to work on investment
accounts. Since right-clicking on an investment transaction shows
several options (void, cut, copy, paste, etc.) to be performed on
"investment(s)", the intent of the programmer was to allow you to
select several transaction and copy or cut them.
How can I select multiple investment transactions?

information.
The procedure I posted allows the user to select multiple investment
transactions and delete them all at one time (in Quicken for Windows).
You're the first person I know of to suggest it doesn't work.
What version of Quicken are you using?
What specific steps did you take and what, exactly, were the results.
What specific account type?
What specific transaction types?
Anything else that might be pertinent.
[Not sure why you're posting in this nearly 3 year old discussion, rather
than starting your own. It's conceivable that some newer version of Quicken
since my comments could act differently (though in this case, I have
successfully performed the procedure I posted, in versions of Quicken from
Q2013 thru Q2017 - and multiple earlier versions.).]

I´m trying to get that thing done, selecting multiple transactions in a investement account (to erase them later on), but I´m using the 2018 version, and I couldn´t find the

Select "Reports"->"Banking"->"Transaction", "Customize", the "Accounts"

tab, "Clear All", check the desired investment account, select "OK",
set the desired "Date Range:", select the desired transactions
(left-click, Shift + left-click, and Ctrl + left-click),
"Edit"->"Delete Transaction(s)" (or right-click and select "Delete
Transaction(s)").

The original post is asking how to change the CATEGORY for multiple Investment transactions, not how to bulk delete entire transactions.
This is a good question, because certain investments when downloaded are not correctly categorized, or not categorized at all. (example: Income from Master Limited Partnerships (MLP) are not considered "dividend" - which is OK because some or all of an MLP income may not be dividends. So Quicken tosses it into "Miscellaneous" and provides the user a way to enter a category for the "Misc" income. It would be really nice if one could fix up the category without spending an hour opening EACH AND EVERY TRANSACTION to edit it individually to change the blank category field to the correct one.

Please quote the text in the original post that asked how to change the

No such question was asked. And the original poster acknowledged that my
response was what was needed.
Next time, I suggest you carefully read every post that was written in a
discussion before responding.
There is no way to change the category in multiple investment transactions
in one process.
What might be "nice" for you would also be very expensive ... most likely
prohibitively expensive for Quicken to implement.
And since no one here could possibly change that, I have no idea why you are
wasting our time posting your complaint here.

You are correct, John. Original question was how to delete multiple investment transactions. Exactly why I'm here. I tried your original suggestion and it works like a charm. I have The very latest Quicken 2018, updated about 4 hours ago.
I have been out of Quicken for nearly two years so I'm trying to get caught up by importing some QIF files. The first one I used had numerous errors so I want to just delete the whole works of the imported transactions and start fresh. Your suggestion makes that possible. Thanks!
